HOW TO USE THIS MATERIAL

INSTRUCTIONS:   Complete instructions are provided on a full-length cassette tape. Beverly takes you through Lesson One step by step, just as you would present it to your pre-schoolers. Reading the following instructions will also prove beneficial.

SCRIPTURE TO STUDY:   Four or five
days before you present the teaching, read and meditate the specific scripture for each lesson. Let the scriptures sink down into your spirit,
so that when you teach the lesson you are ministering the Word from your heart. Don’t
read the scripture to your class --
 it’s for you.

 VERY EASY TO PRESENT
Faith Seeds School Of The Bible is perfect for the first-time teacher. The whole lesson is prepared for you, and no special skills are required.

A cassette tape is provided, which takes you step-by-step through Lesson One, just as you would present it to your class.

CENTRAL TRUTH:   It is better to teach children basic principles than to insist that they learn details. In every segment of your class, keep in mind the central truth.  Our goal is to teach preschool children how to apply the central truth from the Bible stories to their everyday lives.

MEMORY VERSE:

You will notice that the memory verse is the same for several weeks. This is also true of the Bible story.  Pre-school children learn best by repetition.  If they learn the same Bible story and verse for four weeks, they will remember it much better than if you change every week.  Our central truth is different each week, so there is enough variety that they will not be bored.  In many cases, we have listed only a portion of the scripture for the memory verse passage.  It is better for all the children

to know  “God Is Love” than for a few to be able
to quote the entire verse verbatim.

STORIES:  Our stories are all Bible stories. Some details are left out, as it is important not
to give preschoolers more than they can comprehend. It only confuses them if you give them too much information. For instance, in the story of Adam and Eve, we did not explain the
tree of life, and that it would have made them
live forever in their sinful state. The Children
have so much to learn from this story.

  MAKE IT MEMORABLE
Our Covenant Characters add impact to the Bible story and help your class remember important truths. Studies have shown that kids have better recall of what they hear and see.

A sample of our colorful visual aids is also included in this package.

It makes it difficult to get too deep. Just knowing that Adam and Eve had to leave the garden is enough for now. Remember we are
